Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
It is essential to upgrade your equipment to maximize the potential of your gear. It lets you add additional bonus stats over the value of your base item.

Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading the armor and weapons in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components are available all over Night City, and the item that you want to upgrade must have an upgrade slot available. If you select an item to upgrade it will show an image of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, and the necessary component or item needed. If you don't have the necessary level of resource or component to upgrade an item then the button will read "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded, as well as some trinkets and gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on any item to give attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is used. These upgrades are available through crafting, purchased from a vendor or taken from the loot.

Recycled Items
