Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't keep the original level of the item and any money wasted won't get compensated.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When upgrade item are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This is a great way for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide additional effects or an increase in level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
